The case for Moyes to be the next WHUFC manager
David Moyes is the best candidate for the next era in West Ham United Football Club history.

If Allardyce had a shout for a new WHU manager contract he's blown it from Xmas to April - with 12 points from a possible 45 (P 15, W 2, D 6, L 7, F 13, A 21, D -8 P 12). Plus poor football and bad team selections built around accommodating Kevin Nolan who wouldn't be picked for any other Premiership team let alone be their Captain..

Allardyce's WHU era is over now and by season's end will be stone cold dead with more games lost than won and another double digit minus in goals...Stoke, Palace and Everton pushing us down to 12th

David Moyes

(PEDIGREE) Alex Ferguson knew talent - his opinion on Moyes was not built on emotion. Moyes with Everton always gave Man Utd a hard game, invariably Everton beat WHU home or away and always faced up to Liverpool. Under Moyes Goodison Park was always a tough place for any team to play Everton. Moyes two main signings to Man U, Mata and Fellaini have pulled the team together since Xmas.

(EXPERIENCE) 12 years Premiership management experience with many Top 8 finishes including 245 victories in all comps and a combined 47.43% win rate from Everton & Man U.

(ACADEMY) He brought through young English players at Everton inc Barkley, Rodwell, Rooney etc

(FUTURE) Moyes is the man, if he wants the gig, to push on from Allardyce's era. He'll guarantee a strong last season at Upton Park, stabilize the team and build a squad for regular European football at the Olympic Stadium even starting those nights in season 2016/2017

(FIRST SIGNING) Romelu Lukaku - who is still only 21 years old.

Moyes absolutely hates "filthy" and "sneaky" Hobbitses, as he calls them, and as we have one running with the GSE these days, I don't see how this appoinment could work.

isn't Glasgow even further north than Dudley? Once you head north of Sandbanks it starts to look iffy.

We need a proper geyser who know how to rest and elbow on an open car window.

Yes, the Man City rumour may be bollocks.

And, yes I suppose you are right. I think I was heading down the line of Benitez is not good enough for us according to some on here yet Man City want him.

But, your points are valid about him being the right fit for us or not.

I have never claimed to know any more about players and managers than anyone else. I know what I know. Same as everyone else.

And what the fuck are you on about? I never said the rumour was started on WHO. I never even mentioned where it came from. I said that he was panned on here by some who now want Moyes.

Read the posts.

Russ - Hang on a second there. First of all the Man City link could be bolocks, and most probably is. Secondly, define 'panned'? If you go back to the Benitez thread I'd be very surprise if anyone said that he isn't a good coach. What some people feel, including myself, is that Benitez is a lot more better suited to managing the big money clubs where he can spend big, and is not suited to a club of our size and limited ambitions.

Re: The case for Moyes to be the next WHUFC manager
Fucking hell Russ you must watch about twenty games a day with the amount you claim to know about other players and managers.

Also what's that last sentence mean? The rumour wasn't started on WHO? It was put out in the press?

Exactly. The fundamental issue with Sam is a lack of imagination and percentage football. And people want Moyes.

Moronic is exactly what it is.

I also se last night the bloke Benitez who was panned by most on here could be the next Man City manager. Couldn't make it up.

Whatever Moyes' pedigree, pushing it on the fact he gave Man U a tough game and managed to beat West Ham is not really selling it.

Re: The case for Moyes to be the next WHUFC manager
If it ends up being Moyes then so be it. Has to be an improvement on the current situation.

We really can't be going into the final season at Upton Park with everyone (other than the sam lovers) dreading it.

Re: The case for Moyes to be the next WHUFC manager
I'd take Bilic over Sam all day long

I'd take the moose over Sam tbh it's time to move on

We should be looking forward to the last season at our great stadium not fucking dreading it

Re: The case for Moyes to be the next WHUFC manager
Slaven BILIC is still my No.1 choice...

There are other so-called more proven managers out there but there's something about Bilic with his passion, determination and intelligence that gives him the nod for me over other candidates...

He'd be a risk - no mistake about it - but I think that he'd do a cracking job here and completely change the atmosphere around the club and get us playing decent football again...

Also, he'll have decent contacts to land us some very fine technical players at favourable prices throughout Europe...

Re: The case for Moyes to be the next WHUFC manager
Moyes is a better manager than Sam
His stats back that up
The owners won't give a shit what we think about moyes style Vrs Sam because the simple fact is moyes will deliver better results over the course of the season IMO

If you want change,

you don't change like for like

Fucking moronic choice, but wouldn't surprise me considering the BERKS' track record.

Not my No.1 choice - as his teams aren't exactly thrilling to watch either - but I'd certainly take him over BORING BOLLOCKS...
